@neilerasmus showed me this joint. He uses it in his beautiful Shadow Chair. It allows a piece of timber to change directions, whilst maintaining optimum strength. It's also visually striking. All qualities that a furniture maker finds appealing. We have some plans for it. #furnituremakers #australiandesign #joinery
