We are looking for a skilled furniture maker to join our small, specialised workshop inDunsborough, Western Australia.This is a full time position starting in mid January 2017. Salary is negotiable and dependent on skill and experience.We only produce free standing, timber furniture, mainly in American Oak and Walnut. But also Jarrah, Blackwood and other exotic hardwoods.Our pieces are individually designed and handcrafted for private and corporate clients across Australia.We seek an experienced furniture/cabinet maker to join our team. This is not a job for a flat panel kitchen assembler or shop fitter and best suits someone with a background in fine furniture making. You must be experienced in the use of all machinery associated with the production of solid timber furniture (planer, thicknesser, panel saw, spindle moulder, etc) and have good knowledge of furniture making techniques, joinery and finishing. You need to have an exceptional eye for detail and take the upmost pride in your work and will be responsible for producing furniture from a plan right through to finishing and all processes in between.Own transport is a must and you will need to be an Australian resident or hold a valid work permit or Visa.Dunsborough and the South West, is a beautiful part of the Australia.
