A 4.8m custom Oak boardroom table ready to deliver to Rhodes House in West Perth.As with all our large scale tables, they break down into many pieces for install. We will often 3D model the service lift to make sure we maximise the dimensions of the individual components, but make sure we can still fit them in the lift. The intention for our boardroom table tops is to always make them appear as one harmonious top rather than lots of pieces. The veneers are selected, matched and pressed in house, ensuing the best possible outcome. The short grain direction is very deliberate and helps disguise the joins. The solid border rails are left in long lengths and often bridge multiple panels. They are colour and grained matched to read as a continuous frame. Being solid timber, this allows us to utilise a low angle bevel to lighten the overall appearance of the table. Everything then reassembles on site with discrete mechanical fixings. These tables represent many years of refinement in our processes.
