Thanks for the repost @loamaustralia. I first used this sliding mitred dovetail joint in a table called the Antoci, 6 years ago. It's been the key piece of joinery in many of our tables since then. The sliding action is necessary to bring together a series of angled components. The latest incarnation is in our new Froxfield dining table.
