This won’t mean much to a lot of you, but to some it will. For me it’s been a life goal to own a Martin planer. For a furniture maker- it doesn’t get much better. It it improves the efficiency of the workshop in a massive way. The thing I’m most excited about is having control over the amount of concave or convex you put on the edge of a board. For solid timber table tops a slight concave join is essential to avoid splitting at the ends over time. Thanks for lifting them off safely Dan. I’m sure you were stressing.
