We are looking for a skilled Furniture Maker to join our workshop in Vasse Western Australia. We are a small team of craftsmen producing individual pieces for the Australian residential and commercial furniture markets. Each piece is designed and handcrafted in house. Applicants must have previous experience in the production of free standing, solid timber and timber veneer furniture in a commercial workshop and will be responsible for all aspects of production, from timber selection and machining, jig building, joinery, sanding and finishing. Applicants will have experience using a surface planer, Thicknesser, Panel saw and spindle moulder and be confident in the use or routers, domino’s and orbital sanders. They will need to be highly motivated and take the upmost pride in their work. Starting mid June, the position is full time with salary dependent on skill and experience.
