St John Midland Liturgical Furniture

Bespoke Commission | 2017
We were engaged by St John of God Hospital in Midland to design a series of pieces for the multi faith room at the front of the new public hospital. We specially sourced the oregon timber from the Midland Railway Workshops. This salvaged timber had been collected from demolition sites across Perth and set aside for reuse in various projects. Through negotiation and due to the significance of the Hospital to Perth’s public infrastructure, we were allowed access to some of this amazing timber for the creation of these bespoke pieces which included an altar, presiders chair, a display stand and a feature timber wall panel.
